Robin HearfieldRobin McIntyre Hearfield is an Australian interdisciplinary artist working with photography, video, drawing, sculpture and installation. He is interested in intersections of real world environments, the virtual space and the 2D picture plane – mining Greek classical notions of the ideal to examine and critique modern day capitalism.
Robin graduated from the National Art School with first class Honours and completed an MFA in 2016. In 2017 he was awarded a residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris, his video work was acquired by Artbank the same year and has work held in private collections both in Australia and abroad. He has exhibited in the Young International Art Fair Paris, throughout artist-run innitiatives and galleries in Australia and worked on collaborative projects across visual arts, theatre, music and performance. Andréya Quamba – words Andréya is a choreographer, dancer, performer and writer working throughout Europe and Africa based between Paris and Senegal. His plays, dance works, writing and various collaborative projects take many forms, from small public happenings to large scale installations and theatre productions. Alexis Weaver – sound Alexis is an electroacoustic composer based in Sydney, Australia. She studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and draws on her classical music upbringing creating whimsical and adventurous electroacoustic works that celebrate the emotive capabilities of sound. Her principal interest lies in composing fixed-media acoustic music. She has also composed soundtracks for animations, short stories, radio, dance and theatre. Alexis has also exhibited audio-visual installations. |
