Site Gesture. ARTIST
Meg DriverMeg Driver’s practice is inspired by discarded utilitarian goods, happy mistakes, trips
to Bunnings and the physical act of making. Her work seeks to restage the gallery space as a site of experimentation and to generate new spatial relationships and modes of display. Meg’s constructed objects gesture at the importance of impermanence and transience. They encourage viewers to consider their own physical presence and the connection between space and object. Meg graduated from Sydney College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours, First Class). |
